"Get to Know ADO", ADO System delivers faster, more reliable connections.

This video provides a detailed overview of the benefits and operation of the ADO (IDC) connection technology. You will see a demonstration of how the ADO system can save hours of labor while offering a complete and secure connection. The video covers the following topics: Application, construction, environment advantages, reliability, ease-of-use and installation labor savings.

Having Unexplained Motor, Pump or Compressor Failures? Interactive animations show possible solution.

Animations show why motor windings overheat and prematurely fail when adverse three phase voltages are present. Motor health can be compromised when the voltage at the terminal lugs is outside the specification window. See what happens to the winding’s temperature when subjected to: Phase Loss, Under Voltage and Unbalanced Voltages. Animations include meters that display reference voltages during fault events. When the water is rising, there is no time for a pump failure

Unprotected pump motor windings can fail, during storms, when the 3 phase power lines are knocked down one phase at a time. Single phased pumps (one phase disconnected, two connected) often stall under full load. Within 90 seconds stressed windings can fail. ABB offers low cost protection that constantly monitors the incoming 3 phase power. These electronic watchdogs, disconnect the pump in seconds eliminating the need for repair or replacement when power is restored.

  • ABB's Low Cost Pump Protection Relays - keep pumps running
  • Phase loss protection even when regenerated voltages are present.
  • Universal design works with any size pump - 1 to 1200 hp
  • Universal voltage designs reduce inventory
  • Units designed for DIN rail or back panel mounting
  • Miniature 2" x 2" x 1.2" modules provide full protection but can be added to any existing control panel
  • ETL tests prove ABB SSAC products provide superior protection
  • Will not allow pump to start if 3 phase voltages are not within the acceptable range

New R600 Interface Relays Reduce Installed Cost, Improve Operation

Cable NEW Relays & Optocouplers - R600 Series

The new R600 line of relay and optocoupler discrete signal interfaces were developed with the end user in mind. The labor required to install, replace or trouble shoot signal interfaces has been greatly reduced. The revolutionary new design & style provides an attractive package with improved functionality. Comparable jumper bars, test switches and recessed LEDs provide a clean & safe environment.

A typical automation process may include a control system consisting of a computer, or a PLC linked to the process, with a maze of wires connected to various sensors, actuators and contactors. The R600 line was developed to streamline installations, reduce space, and improve safety by eliminating wiring and associated clutter. The R600 range of relays and optocouplers make it possible to optically couple various logic signals in a neat, compact, safe & efficient manner.
