 Finally,
it is possible to eliminate a power relay or DP contactor
and still get the accuracy and reliability of switch adjustable
time delays.
ABB is please to announce this exciting addition to the patented
ProgramaCube® family of factory programmable timers and
counters. The HRIU/HRPU combines the accuracy of microcontroller
circuitry with a 30 Amp relay to allow direct control of
pumps, compressors, motors, heaters and lighting. The HRIU
Series features isolated SPDT contacts, the HRPU has non-isolated
contacts. Accurate switch adjustment lowers the installed
cost by positive selection of the time delay the first time
and everytime; eliminating extra adjustment and testing procedures
required for knob adjust timers. Factory programmed means
all functions, all ranges and all voltages are available
at standard lead times. Custom software functions can be
created to eliminate up to 3 conventional timers or counters.
It can replace a miniPLC or a logic relay in some equipment
applications dramatically cutting the total control system
cost. All units are shipped with the UL, CSA and CE logos
and are backed by an exclusive 10 Year Warranty.

cable operator. Flange mounted cable operators provide a
safe way to reset a tripped circuit breaker without opening
the panel door. They are designed for use with ABB’s
Tmax series of molded case circuit breakers (MCCB). All kits
include the K5FCH or K5FCH4 (water-tight) door handles. Four
different reset mechanisms cover the breaker frame size range.
The T1 and T2 MCCBs, use the same reset mechanism; the T3,
T4 and T5 MCCBs each has an unique reset mechanism. You can
select a cable length from 36 to 120 inches. Cable operators
must be purchased as separate components. Three parts are
required: breaker mechanism, cable, flange handle.
