The T4 and T5 are the result of a comprehensive ABB research program to produce industry leading levels of performance in a smaller molded case breaker: "the lowest I2T, with the highest interrupting capacity, in the a smallest package." These new breakers offer interrupting capacity of 150 kA at 480V AC and 100 kA at 600V AC in a compact molded enclosure. The T4 is a 250A frame size and the T5 is a 400A/600A frame size.
